  Here is the installation of our recent (Tuesday, 6/7) stained-glass delivery. This project achieved the goal of permitting light and, yet, ensuring privacy. Another goal was retaining visual access to the sky and rooftops from a Loft Studio plus having access to the mechanics of the windows. We are excited by the result.

  Hi Rae,

  Our poor R&L driver delivered our stained glass yesterday in the middle of a Michigan blizzard. They went above and beyond to make the delivery and all was perfectly handled and packaged!

  We couldn’t wait to hang them today and got them up this afternoon. You were not kidding, the stain glass is amazing! The pictures do not do them justice, those round jeweled details are just gorgeous. We can’t wait to show our family and friends. Enclosing some pictures so you can see the final product.   Thank you!! I am besotted! Absolutely out of my mind- sorry it took a bit but I had to wait to get them put up - everyone has crazy schedules this time of year. I am thinking about doing another bank of windows- similar size, on the other side of the house! Maybe different colors- but I will be in touch.

  Dear Rae,

  It has been awhile since I communicated with you, but I haven’t forgotten you. In the last communication we were going to find a stained glass repair company here in NJ. We found one in Paterson, 70 miles north of here. Actually, it was near where we used to live. So, before we went to FL in February, we drove the window up to them. They are very nice and took us on a tour of their place; glass room, layout room, fabricator room, etc. We went to FL for March and picked it up when we returned. Our contractor was already on another job, then his wife was in the hospital. What could go wrong did. He finally came last week. It is in!!!! It is beautiful. We love it. I’m posting the original opening as it looked when we moved in. Then the opening with the window in place from both dining room side and kitchen. If you need a different angle to show customers or for any other reason, just let me know and I’ll be glad to send more pictures.
