  Hi Rae. I’m delighted with my new stained glass window which was just installed this morning. Rather than removing the existing frosted glass window, my contractor decided to build a white wooden frame around the stained glass to secure it directly in front of the existing frosted glass window. That way we didn’t risk damaging your beautiful piece or worrying about the window leaking in the future. Since this window is in the second floor and not really visible from the street, this method was fine with me as it looks great from inside our guest bedroom which is all I cared about. Now it looks like a piece of art on the wall!

  As promised, here is a photograph of the installed stained glass window. We are thrilled with the window and the light it produces when the sun strikes it! The window is an anniversary gift to each other. We were particularly surprised and impressed by the magnificent shipping crate (bullet-proof and practical design complete with handle). Normally, we would discard shipping containers but yours is a keeper. We have no idea how we will use it but we won't discard it -- too well thought-out.

  Our poor R&L driver delivered our stained glass yesterday in the middle of a Michigan blizzard. They went above and beyond to make the delivery and all was perfectly handled and packaged!

  We couldn’t wait to hang them today and got them up this afternoon. You were not kidding, the stain glass is amazing!   The window looks beautiful. We have it mounted in the mid point of the wall since it is viewed from both sides. The mounting we used is basically frameless since any framing would tend to diminish the appearance. I have attached a picture that shows how it looks. Another picture shows a wider view of the living room.

  All kidding aside, the results are beautiful. We really appreciate the care you took in carrying out the design and the craftsmanship displayed in making the window.
