  Question:
  The New Mexico sun can produce some ferocious heat. I noticed that the window became very hot to the touch yesterday afternoon when the sun was shining directly on it.
  Should we be concerned about too much sun heating in regard to the solder joints and glass?

  Hi Derek,

  The window was installed yesterday; great job. The inside has to be finished, i.e. stained. I hope to begin & complete the work in the next few days. When all done, I will edit my review to add the photos. If you would like I could include pics with the installed A/C through the wall unit, inside & out. Just wanted to share the below photos.   Hello Rae

  We had the stained glass mounted in a Millgard window frame and installed over the front door foyer. This window is south facing and gets copious sunlight. Especially in summer.
  My 3yo son loves it! Points up to it every morning and yells delightfully!
  I choose to mount it with hummingbirds on left to enjoy the picture best from the inside of the home. Such a view when on the second floor.! Exploring options to decrease the profile of the existing chandelier since the stain glass is now the central focus in that space.

One is of the original windows with the leaded glass (that I am keeping), note that the glass is flat and not beveled. The second photo is of one of the windows I am replacing.   Our house builder installed our stained glass piece today! We love it! It’s perfect! I’ll send you some more photos another time when I can sort out the glare and there aren’t manufacturer stickers on the exterior window. (It’s separating a bathroom and a hallway, with an exterior window across from it to allow light into the bathroom.) But I wanted you to see it ASAP. Thank you so much!!!!! We are thrilled!   Here is the installation of our recent (Tuesday, 6/7) stained-glass delivery. This project achieved the goal of permitting light and, yet, ensuring privacy.
