We had the stained glass mounted in a Millgard window frame and installed over the front door foyer. This window is south facing and gets copious sunlight. Especially in summer.
My 3yo son loves it! Points up to it every morning and yells delightfully!
I choose to mount it with hummingbirds on left to enjoy the picture best from the inside of the home. Such a view when on the second floor.! Exploring options to decrease the profile of the existing chandelier since the stain glass is now the central focus in that space.Well done! What a great addition to our new home!

Hi Rae, Thank you so much for your help with my window order. I've attached 3 photos of the room where the new windows will be installed. One is of the original windows with the leaded glass (that I am keeping), note that the glass is flat and not beveled. The second photo is of one of the windows I am replacing. Our house builder installed our stained glass piece today! We love it! It’s perfect! I’ll send you some more photos another time when I can sort out the glare and there aren’t manufacturer stickers on the exterior window. (It’s separating a bathroom and a hallway, with an exterior window across from it to allow light into the bathroom.) But I wanted you to see it ASAP. Thank you so much!!!!! We are thrilled! Hi Rae. I’m delighted with my new stained glass window which was just installed this morning. Rather than removing the existing frosted glass window, my contractor decided to build a white wooden frame around the stained glass to secure it directly in front of the existing frosted glass window. That way we didn’t risk damaging your beautiful piece or worrying about the window leaking in the future. Since this window is in the second floor and not really visible from the street, this method was fine with me as it looks great from inside our guest bedroom which is all I cared about. Now it looks like a piece of art on the wall!
