It took us some time to install this beautiful stained glass into position as we were delayed in getting new windows installed in home.
However, we now have it in position in a window that overlooks our outdoor kitchen and bar, which was the original intent. It is back lit with remote control led lights, and as you can see, it shows very well from the table or from our bar area.
We are very pleased with it!

I hope your weekend went well, mine was Awesome. I installed the window you and your team created. It is GORGEOUS!!
Derek, early on when we discussed measurements, I requested the final window be 1” thick. You let me know that at most, these window typically don’t go any thicker than 7/8” and that you would construct my window with a 7/8” thickness. When I got home last night, I measured the thickness of the glass and it was 11/16”, 3/16” less than what I expected and 5/16” thinner than the window I was replacing.
This turned out to be a benefit, because the “gap” that I already knew I was going to have to accommodate would have been more difficult to fill as opposed to the gap that needed filling.

Question:
The New Mexico sun can produce some ferocious heat. I noticed that the window became very hot to the touch yesterday afternoon when the sun was shining directly on it.
Should we be concerned about too much sun heating in regard to the solder joints and glass?Best,

We had the stained glass mounted in a Millgard window frame and installed over the front door foyer. This window is south facing and gets copious sunlight. Especially in summer.
My 3yo son loves it! Points up to it every morning and yells delightfully!
I choose to mount it with hummingbirds on left to enjoy the picture best from the inside of the home. Such a view when on the second floor.! Exploring options to decrease the profile of the existing chandelier since the stain glass is now the central focus in that space.Well done! What a great addition to our new home!

Just Got The Bathroom Completed That Started With The Stained Glass Window You Designed And Made For Us. It's Has Been A Long Hard Climb Since The Tornado Destroyed Half of Are Home And Most Of Are Belongings August 27 of 2020.So This Was One Of - The Give Backs We Now Have In Moving On!~!.

I took the last two with a better camera and only reduced the size so they'd not overload the email with data. Originally they were around 10mb per photo. I can send those two again by themselves at a bit higher resolution later this evening when I get home from work. I'd be happy to review your company, and the work you did. I had nothing but a great experience working with you and we're both amazed at how awesome it looks.
