I hope your weekend went well, mine was Awesome. I installed the window you and your team created. It is GORGEOUS!!
Derek, early on when we discussed measurements, I requested the final window be 1” thick. You let me know that at most, these window typically don’t go any thicker than 7/8” and that you would construct my window with a 7/8” thickness. When I got home last night, I measured the thickness of the glass and it was 11/16”, 3/16” less than what I expected and 5/16” thinner than the window I was replacing.
This turned out to be a benefit, because the “gap” that I already knew I was going to have to accommodate would have been more difficult to fill as opposed to the gap that needed filling.

Dear Rae,
It has been awhile since I communicated with you, but I haven’t forgotten you. In the last communication we were going to find a stained glass repair company here in NJ. We found one in Paterson, 70 miles north of here. Actually, it was near where we used to live. So, before we went to FL in February, we drove the window up to them. They are very nice and took us on a tour of their place; glass room, layout room, fabricator room, etc. We went to FL for March and picked it up when we returned. Our contractor was already on another job, then his wife was in the hospital. What could go wrong did. He finally came last week. It is in!!!! It is beautiful. We love it. I’m posting the original opening as it looked when we moved in. Then the opening with the window in place from both dining room side and kitchen. If you need a different angle to show customers or for any other reason, just let me know and I’ll be glad to send more pictures.

Hello there Rae!
I took the last two with a better camera and only reduced the size so they'd not overload the email with data. Originally they were around 10mb per photo. I can send those two again by themselves at a bit higher resolution later this evening when I get home from work. I'd be happy to review your company, and the work you did. I had nothing but a great experience working with you and we're both amazed at how awesome it looks. We keep walking by, stopping for a moment to wonder at it actually being in our house Have a great day! I'll send the other photos later tonight.
