I hope your weekend went well, mine was Awesome. I installed the window you and your team created. It is GORGEOUS!!
Derek, early on when we discussed measurements, I requested the final window be 1” thick. You let me know that at most, these window typically don’t go any thicker than 7/8” and that you would construct my window with a 7/8” thickness. When I got home last night, I measured the thickness of the glass and it was 11/16”, 3/16” less than what I expected and 5/16” thinner than the window I was replacing.
This turned out to be a benefit, because the “gap” that I already knew I was going to have to accommodate would have been more difficult to fill as opposed to the gap that needed filling.

Hi! Received your beautiful work of art, and have just recently hung it above my kitchen sink. It’s basically for privacy affects, and it is so lovely to look at while I’m doing the dishes! Here is the installation of our recent (Tuesday, 6/7) stained-glass delivery. This project achieved the goal of permitting light and, yet, ensuring privacy. Another goal was retaining visual access to the sky and rooftops from a Loft Studio plus having access to the mechanics of the windows. We are excited by the result.
