  I ended up getting my measurements wrong and it’s a little to big to hang it where I thought I would. I’m glad I did - it’s perfect! That being said, I’ll need to decide where it’s going.   It took us some time to install this beautiful stained glass into position as we were delayed in getting new windows installed in home.

  However, we now have it in position in a window that overlooks our outdoor kitchen and bar, which was the original intent. It is back lit with remote control led lights, and as you can see, it shows very well from the table or from our bar area.

  I hope your weekend went well, mine was Awesome. I installed the window you and your team created. It is GORGEOUS!!

  Derek, early on when we discussed measurements, I requested the final window be 1” thick. You let me know that at most, these window typically don’t go any thicker than 7/8” and that you would construct my window with a 7/8” thickness. When I got home last night, I measured the thickness of the glass and it was 11/16”, 3/16” less than what I expected and 5/16” thinner than the window I was replacing.

  This turned out to be a benefit, because the “gap” that I already knew I was going to have to accommodate would have been more difficult to fill as opposed to the gap that needed filling.
