  Hi Rae. I’m delighted with my new stained glass window which was just installed this morning. Rather than removing the existing frosted glass window, my contractor decided to build a white wooden frame around the stained glass to secure it directly in front of the existing frosted glass window. That way we didn’t risk damaging your beautiful piece or worrying about the window leaking in the future. Since this window is in the second floor and not really visible from the street, this method was fine with me as it looks great from inside our guest bedroom which is all I cared about. Now it looks like a piece of art on the wall!

  Here is the installation of our recent (Tuesday, 6/7) stained-glass delivery. This project achieved the goal of permitting light and, yet, ensuring privacy. Another goal was retaining visual access to the sky and rooftops from a Loft Studio plus having access to the mechanics of the windows. We are excited by the result.

  Our poor R&L driver delivered our stained glass yesterday in the middle of a Michigan blizzard. They went above and beyond to make the delivery and all was perfectly handled and packaged!

  We couldn’t wait to hang them today and got them up this afternoon. You were not kidding, the stain glass is amazing! The pictures do not do them justice, those round jeweled details are just gorgeous. We can’t wait to show our family and friends. Enclosing some pictures so you can see the final product.   The window arrived at our house a couple of weeks ago, safe and sound. Yesterday afternoon, we were able to get the window hung up in our window. It looks simply AMAZING!!! My wife absolutely loves it!

  They are definitely a conversation piece as to where i was able to locate the perfect old stained glass windows!

  As an fyi they aren’t centered so they align with the bottom of the cabinets on each side.
