  the bonus I got. I assumed that at night, with darkness outside, the window
  would be dark but instead that is when it really comes alive.

The larger window in our dining room gives us privacy while letting light in and allowing us to see the shadows of trees outside. And the red jewels go very well with the decor inside the room.
